Fomenko Ilya VladimirovichCEO, PhD

He graduated from the St. Petersburg State Technological Institute in 2008 and defended his thesis as a candidate in technical sciences at the St. Petersburg Mining University, majoring in Metallurgy of ferrous, non-ferrous and rare metals in 2016.

A specialist in autoclave processes and technologies for processing polymetallic materials independently carries out scientific guidance on various topics.

He has scientific works and has participated in Russian and foreign conferences.

Schneerson Yakov MihaylovichScience and Development Director, Professor, Doctor of Technical Sciences

A graduate of the Department of Metallurgy of Non-Ferrous Metals of the Leningrad Mining Institute (1959). From 1960 to 2008 he worked in LLC “Institute Gipronickel”. Since 1976 – Head of the Laboratory of Hydrometallurgy. Doctor of Technical Sciences (1988), Professor (1992). The main theme of Yakov Mikhailovich’s work at the Gipronickel Institute is the study of
patterns and the development of autoclave technologies for heavy non-ferrous and precious metals production.

He participated in the creation and integration of autoclave processes in the nickel-cobalt industry of the USSR. A member of the team of authors who created the technology of autoclave leaching of nickel-pyrrhotite concentrates at Norilsk MMC, implemented in 1979 and it’s currently operating. The high scientific and engineering erudition of Ya. M. Schneerson and his extensive experience in the implementation of modern technologies contributed to the creation in 2008 of a new research unit – the Research Center “Hydrometallurgy”

From 2008 to the present time SRC Hydrometallurgy has developed and tested on a semi-industrial scale technologies for recovering “refractory” gold based on high-temperature autoclave leaching of concentrates for two deposits of Petropavlovsk – Pioneer and Malomyr, as well as for other deposits in Russia. J. M. Schneerson is the author of more than 350 articles, more than 70 copyright certificates of the USSR and patents of Russia. Co-author of 9 monographs and review information, including monographs “Nickel” in 3 volumes and “Autoclave hydrometallurgy of non-ferrous metals” in 3 volumes.
